Brands will not accept a return if the customer does not sign for and accept the shipment from the carrier. Therefore, it must be made clear that customers must sign and accept the purchase from the carrier, or no return or refund will be issued.

 Some brands:
NO REFUNDS are available for this product. If your furniture arrives with any sort of transit-related damage or defect, an exchange may be granted. All damages and missing parts must be reported within 12 days of merchandise receipt. Under certain conditions, a 30% restocking fee will apply.
If the customer does not sign for and accept the shipment from the carrier, no return will be granted.
Some brands:
Returns and refunds are entirely determined by the brand. If your furniture arrives with any transit-related damage or defect, you may be eligible for an exchange or refund. All missing parts and damages must be reported within 12 days of receiving the merchandise. Under particular circumstances, a 30% restocking fee in addition to the total shipping cost, which is the sum of the costs associated with the carrier picking up the order and returning the package to the warehouse, will apply.
If the customer does not sign for and accept the shipment from the carrier, no return or refund will be granted.
